Once We arrived to the Khao San Road area and started to hunt for accommodation. We have checked out a good few of them. Most of them were in a very bad condition, dirty dark rooms, filthy bathroom, etc. We finally got the Rambuttri Road which also has many hotels and guesthouses. We found the Orchid to have the best rooms. It is a very small guesthouse a room with A/C 2 beds, hot shower did cost us 500Bath/night + 100Bath deposit for the key. It also had free Wifi internet which is a big plus. We have planned to stay in Bangkok for a couple of days but finally We decided to head straight to Ko Samed the next morning as Bangkok wasn’t really our cup of tea.
Note: We took a taxi from BKK Airport to Khao San road. It did cost 420 Bath.
