Nha Trang is a very lovely city with a nice beach too bad that it was raining for our 5 days stay. We were going to wait until the weather improves but it just kept on raining. I would love to report on the lovely beach, the magnificent cable car, and all the excellent things that we could have done but unfortunately this is not the case. You have to be extra careful when you go to Nha trang the monsoon season hits the middle part of Vietnam in October.
There was knee deep water on the streets and after a few days it just got very dirty and smelly We were just lucky not to get any infection from the water there were actually serious floods everywhere in the region.
We stayed at Ha Van Hotel which was a very good experience we did pay $30 for an excellent room with flat screen TV, fast and reliable wifi internet, large balcony, free breakfast. If we were to stay somewhere else it would have been a lot more difficult to keep ourselves kind of busy while there is pouring rain outside.
Ha Van has a very nice rooftop bar with reasonable prices the food was also nice. Large variety of breakfasts and a Canadian manager who actually takes care of everyone almost personally. The rooms are extra clean and your stuff is really safe there.
