Thailand: Ko Samet or Ko Samed

Quite confusing isn’t when you try to collect information on Ko Samet over the internet and you see an island with a similar name called Ko Samed. Well to tell you the truth this is the same island. The reason why it is written on two different ways is that the Thai alphabet doesn’t have a “t” or a “d”. When it is written with a western alphabet some people use “d” some use “t”. Don’t get confused it is the same island 🙂
