There are many options to get from Phonsavan to Vang Vieng:

We again picked the minibus as the prices for all three were exactly the same at the travel agency. It did cost us 100.000 Kip / person. The ride took for about 6 hours the first 3 hours is on very curvy roads the other 3 hours are on normal roads with shitty conditions. Our driver was a bit of a boy racer and was driving like a lunatic. There as one very disappointing thing.. The minivan left us at the bus station 3km from town so it was an additional 10.000 Kip / person to get into the centre of Vang Vieng by tuk tuk.
