Thailand: Koh Chang Mud Slides 2010

During the rainy season it is not uncommon that the heavy rain causes landslides in the mountains. We were in the unfortunate situation to experience this. The locals said they haven’t seen this happening for many years.

The West Coast of Koh Chang lost electricity for 2 days. This was due to a couple of mud slides down the hill that took out a good few of the electric and telephone poles covering the main road with slippery mud.
