The Klong Plu Waterfall is about 20-30 minutes drive away from White Sand Beach. The narrow road that takes you there ends at the
entrance of the national park. The entry fee is 200 Bath / adult. From the entrance you have to take a scenic path up in the rainforest to find the Waterfall. During the rainy season the path is often closed as the path becomes part of the river that runs next to it.
If you are lucky enough to be able to enter the area the walk will take about 20 minutes ( 500 meters or so ) from the Entrance. It is also possible to take a dip in the river, there are certain areas where the current is calmer and there are ropes across the river for your safety.
We have been there right after a couple of rainy days and I can tell you that there were several small streams flowing across the path into the river. The entire area was extremely wet. We had shoes on but by the time We got the waterfall both or our shoes were completely soaked.
If you use flip-flops you have a good chance of slipping, if you use shoes they might get soaking wet after 5 minutes of walk. So take your pick 🙂
