We found this accommodation before we came here over the internet. Follow this link to see their website. What you see is what you get the photos on their web page are not showing a “show room” but they are real photos of the rooms.
We were very happy here, the owner Timo is a very nice guy he can answer you virtually any questions that comes up regarding to the island. He runs a restaurant and a full bar right on the small beach where the bungalows are located. If you are a resident here you get 10% off from every drink in the bar and food in the restaurant. They serve Thai and also Western food.
The room prices are ranging from 400 Bath to 1200 Bath. Some rooms are with A/C some with fan only.
The environment of Samed Resort is nicely done small ponds and gardens all across the small estate. There are hammocks, sunbeds on the beach of course they are all free to use. One of the most important thing for us was the free wifi internet which does reach some of the rooms. It certainly does reach bungalow 3 as I am sitting here at the time of writing 🙂
The only backside maybe is that it is pretty far from the beaches at the National Park ( about 10-20 mins walk ) so you will need to rent a scooter to travel around or you just use the local beach. It is still a lot better than having accommodation on the far side of the National Park with dirt roads and expensive taxis.
Tip: Raining? Take advantage of the free table tennis or pool table.
