When you are hunting for accommodation in Thailand there are a certain things you should check before settle for that room:
Hot Water
Some accommodations claim to have hot water but the reality is that they don’t.
Security
Ask if there is a security guard around during the night.
Safe Box
You should always keep your valuables locked away. Some accommodations have in room Safe boxes some have those at the reception and some doesn’t have it at all.
Power Outlets
Some rooms don’t have a power outlets at all. It is quite complicated to charge your phone or laptop without that.
In Room Wifi
If you need Wifi internet check if it reaches your room most accommodations offer free wifi now.
In Room Fridge
Most accommodations don’t have this however it could save you a good bit of money as you wouldn’t have to buy everything from the bar. Rooms with fridge usually coming at a higher price.
Towels and blankets
Check if there are towels and blankets are supplied.
